All brides struggle with wedding planning! It's not that their not excited and
anxious for their big day. It's because their already struggling to work and
maybe even go to school. Add to that the pressure of maintaining a healthy
relationship with their guy.  Oh, and don't forget about buying a house!

Add to this all the extra stress of planning a wedding and not just any
wedding.... THE PERFECT WEDDING!  Well, what bride wouldn't get a little
overwhelmed?

What if everything you needed to plan your wedding could be found all in
one location and all on one day?

This was the idea when Bridal Traditions was conceived.

The first Bridal Traditions Show was held in 1996 at the Montagne Center
on the campus of Lamar University,  and for three years that was it's home.
The show quickly outgrew that venue and was moved to the Beaumont Civic
Center.

Bridal Traditions is produced by Johnnie Andrus, owner of Cindy's Bridal &
Formal in Vidor and Sarah Linscomb, owner of J&J Monogram in
Lumberton.

By 2002, Johnnie & Sarah realized that many brides were working on a
much shorter schedule and added a summer show to the calendar.

By giving brides and grooms the opportunity to see all the local marketplace
has to offer, many of the worries and frets that can become so overwhelming
are left at the doors of Bridal Traditions.

We look forward to seeing you there and being the primary source of
wedding planning information.
